Welcome to mylesgoldin.com . Congratulations to a very successful show The
Tempest. We played to sold out houses both weekends, including an added performance on the final weekend. Here are some
quotes about the show:
"I've
seen some Shakespeare
interpretations and they have either added to my confusion or were forced and clumsy. This
casting was wonderful, and showed strengths and versatility."--Judy Potter
"Jeez, I was crying into the first few minutes..." --Naropa Alumni
Thank you everyone for coming to see The Tempest.
It was an amazing experience and I'm so happy that you enjoyed it, because we sure did!
Next up, thesis WORKS IN PROGRESS in late November...watch
for upcoming news!
What a year this has been! Going into my second
and final year of Graduate School at Naropa University, it is going to be a full-time exploration of theatre arts and learning.
Well underway are
my studies and rehearsals. Love it!! This is what rehearsals should be like...PLAY! Check out my blog, a natural
theatre. Submissions welcomed and encouraged. a natural theatre is about process and production, working somatically
and the power of theatre. We are all natural players and artists...even the most nerdiest scientist.
Then off to solidify my Thesis work. My thesis will culminate into a
full production of a solo proportions. "What is your thesis about?" you may ask...well, so far my research
has been about goddesses, femininity/masculinity, relationships, clowns, silk painting, being the other, the underside of
flowers, art, prima donna millionaire artists, magic, and valuing the words that come out of one's mouth!! Check in often
and thanks again for visiting.
